The battle of the Schmaltzburg Cossroads (or, "the Day of the Cuirassiers")
The premise was that Archduke Ken, the Unholy Emperor, had erected a solid gold statue of himself at the crossroads. Forces from Holstein- Glottorp, Schwerpunkt and Glumburg all arrived to remove the statue.
There were some desultry exchanges of fire,But the main action opened with a rapid advance by the Unholy grenadier brigade which caught the Holstein Glottorp Weiss Hussars in the flank , routing them. Revenge swiftly followed as the HG Leibkarabiniers and Gensdarmes swung round and destroyed the Unholy Emperor's army in a devastating charge, routing 8 units. Night fell as the three contending forces left, struggled around the statue, indecisively.
