Are they hard plastic? I'm trying no to buy more stuff, until I have made more progress on the stockpile. Dervish camels are now finished, plus a Hanoverian Feldbattalion, 24 Nassauers and a Prussian Grenadier Battalion. I did find 36 Fusilers, so they are next.

Dave, if you want the WWI Germans you gave me back just say.
Got my Jagdpanther, you were right Bob a very nice model, PzIII L and for something a little different, an M10 Wolverine. All are made just need to find the time to paint them.
I have also built some 28mm shops and found the church and blacksmiths forge that i had put some where safe and promptly lost.

Seen this in more than one battle report, not just the french, Austrian's as well. taking the charge at the halt...
On 8 February 1814 at Pozzolo Austrian senior officer Merville urged his cavalry to remain ready for a charge from behind the earthen embarkment when squadron of uhlans (of Archduke Charles Uhlan Regiment) returned and announced being pursued by the French cavalry. As soon as the French came within sight, General Wrede's dragoon brigade and 4 squadrons of Archduke Charles Uhlan Regiment were sent forward. In the head of the French force advanced 2 squadrons of the 1st Hussar Regiment. The French instead of counter-charging received the Austrians at the standstill and were routed. The Austrian Savoy Dragoon Regiment then attacked the remaining French cavalry frontally, while the Hohenlohe Dragoon Regiment attacked their flank. The French and supporting them Italian Queen's Dragoon Regiment were overthrown. The Austrians also captured horse battery. The disorder of the cavalry spread to the adjacent troops. The French-Italian cavalry brigade was hors de combat for the rest of the battle, was in no condition to deploy in the front again.
