We did a Bolt Action game based on Tug Argan (Based also on the TTB refight on Youtube). Both phases of the campaign would work. I have a new 3d printing contact (3d printing valley ltd) . He contacted me after I ordered a Priest Kangaroo, to ask if there was anything else I was looking for- so I asked him for a cast hull Sherman - he sourced a file, and the stuff should appear next week. It's resin printed, so should be good quality. The reason I mention this is that he might be able to do a Ford armoured car as used by the Arab Legion and the SDF.....

My USMC are finished, for the moment. Lieutenant and sidekick, 2 FOO/FAOs, 81mm Mortar and spotter, Bazooka team, Sniper Team and Flamethrower Team. 2 8 man regular Marine Squads, each with 2 BARs, and a 5 man "spare" squad. 1 10 man Marine Raider Squad with 3 BARs (and camo suits!), and an M5 Stuart. This is based on the 42/43 list. I have some LVTs on the way. To do the 44/45 list I will need more Marines, as the squads are bigger

A few shots from our Tunisia game today. Here a Churchill MkIII faces off with an M13/40 and an anti tank gun (and off camera a 100mm howitzer). On the hill Indian infantry destroy some brave Italians who had assaulted a Humber armoured car with AT grenades (it recced away). The Churchill achieved little, due to pinning, but the M13 did sterling work pinning British infantry with the hull MGs. Until the armoured car drove round it and KOed it at point blank...

On the other flank, a Valentine MkIII caused consternation by executing a flank attack. It did nothing else, failing either to hit or penetrate the L6/40 at point blank from behind....

The star of the show- a Humber MkII , which bagged an M13/40, an 81mm mortar and the 100mm Howitzer, plus decoying a unit of Italian infantry into the teeth of a section of Rajputs. Alex commanded the British, While Ken commanded the Italians. British were 4th Indian Div, plus support from 25 Tank Brigade, while the Italians were a mixed bag of Bersaglieri, San Marco Marines, and regulars, with some tank and artillery support.

I should add that the game was played remotely, using Teams (with 2 cameras) and Roll20 for dice rolling. In case the Polis monitor this site.....

So it is-but I think we will be back soonish. Alex and I are getting our jags on Monday, Ken is next week as well, and Cam has had his, so that's a hopeful sign. I went for the USMC as Dave has bought Japanese, and they are good for Korea as well- Dave and Anton have bought KPA and Chinese. I have also discovered that I don't mind painting camo- I did a large number of British Paras after Christmas, and then some Panzer Grenadiers (I bought a job lot on Ebay- SDKFZ 251/10 and Afrika Korps, however most of the figures were late war grenadiers and some Fallshchirmjager). There is also a gap until the new Warlord British infantry arrive (on pre-order....) and I wanted to paint something!

I'm getting my jag next week too (I'm not sure why I'm getting it at this point either)
I saw that Dave and Anton had got some Korea stuff, was thinking maybe one of the small UN contingents would suit me (although they all basically look like Americans anyway)
Late War Brits are looking good

Thanks Alan Even some British units look like Americans!45 Commando was issued with US kit, I think. My force of LVTs arrived yesterday from Anyscale. They are spot on, and huge. I have to say that lockdown has produced some interesting contacts for 28mm vehicles- Anyscale, Paint and Glue, Garden Shed printing, 3d Valley printing, Mad Bob miniatures and RKX.
