Briefs have been issued to the 2 main contenders for "the Affair at Bad Schmelling". If anyone has a 28mm model of a thermal bath, I'd be grateful for a loan......

As people noticed, the scenario yesterday was not actually "Bad Schmelling", but was in fact the Prussian assault on Sageshutz- the opening move in the Battle of Leuthen. Ken probably did better than the historical commanders on the Austrian left!
Fear not the real "Affair at Bad Schmelling" will appear soon- If you wish to take part, pleasee reply to this post

Anton said last night he might not be able to make it- his schedule may have changed. I'll bring the troops down anyway,

So :- Schwerpunkt foiled by Ken'S(insert name Here) ! Ken's mission was to recover his national treasury which had been concealed in the thermal mud of the baths at Bad Schmelling. Alan's force was trying to cut Ken off from his retreat (and knew nothing of the treasure). Notable features: Alan's light infantry inflicting untold devastation on a brigade of Ken's infantry, a unit of hussars and some dragoons.
Both sides Hussars fannying about- in Ken's case this resulted in them taking a couple of volleys from the aforementioned lights and breaking. Ken's Cuirassier brigade saving the day at the last moment, securing the escape route for the treasure.

I'm up for it - are my allies available?
Can we confirm this battle will happen tomorrow, as I don't want to bring my troops for nothing.
