Friends, wargamers, countrymen, lend me your ears... or eyes.
I mentioned this to a few people a couple of weeks ago, just remembered to post here. I received an email from the Glasgow Games Group regarding the show they're putting on this year. See bellow the contents of the email.
"We'd like to invite you to put on a game at the second Glasgow Games Gathering, taking place on the 27th of June this year, at Bellahouston Sports Centre, run by ourselves Glasgow Games Group. Last year was a great success for a first show, with around 400 people in attendance, and some great games, and we’re hoping to keep this growing.
We've got a short online form for you to fill out, which also has more details such as time and place for the show, and will allow you to book your table etc.
Please note that while we don’t mind information boards etc next to tables to advertise the club, and provide info about the game, we try to keep the aisles clear for good access, especially for any disabled visitors, if you can keep this in mind when positioning etc.
Also as last year we will also be using a gamer card, where in people can collect stamps through playing games, and buying items over £10 in value. We will provide stickers to yourselves to mark the cards. Once these are completed these can be handed in to enter a prize draw for vouchers, which can be spent at the show. Hopefully this will help retain people within the hall, and spending money/playing games.
We're happy to accept any games at the show, but please note that if we have more games than we have table space for then games in which the public can participate will be given preference.
If you'd like to come along, the online form can be found here."
If anyone would like to make any suggestions I can fill out the form and reply.
