Hi all, hope everyone is getting on OK.
I've had a couple of thoughts regarding the club and the ongoing situation with COVID etc...
I think it might be valuable to have some sort of structure like we had previously with a Chairperson, Secretary and Treasurer for the club, responsible for managing the club going forward. It just means we can have designated points on contact for people and we can maybe look into getting back to the church or, if necessary, find alternative premises.
The "board" would meet monthly (probably over teams etc) which all members can attend, if even for a catch up.
I think it would also be a good idea to go through the terrain we currently have, taking the intact stuff, salvaging the salvageable and disposing of the crap. Then dividing what's left among volunteers at the club to hold onto. Anton has volunteered to create a google drive that we can all access and he will put any necessary info about what terrain we have and where it is on there.
What are everyone's thoughts and do we have any nominations for each position?
David.

Bob's got the money, so he could continue with that. I'm happy to stick my head over the parapet, within reason and work permitting.

I'd imagine that would cost a bit more than the church hall.

it's worth looking into- isn't there an RPG group who go there ? The church is OK, but it's probably only a matter of time before they pack it in.

OK, well I'll create a new team on Microsoft teams. We're able to conduct polls on that so if anyone interested can volunteer for any of the positions, then we can poll it on teams.
I've got a few of you already on teams. I will attempt to add others.
Anyone I've not added yet, it means I don't have your email so if you want to PM it on this, that would be appreciated.

That's jamic1@sky.com now. Dave I did get your E-mail about teams just seen it. I do have the money, I could be the treasurer though its probably better if someone close to the hall, which ever one it is, held that post. Been really busy with work, the parcels seem to be kicking off again with the increased restrictions, no rest for the wicked. Thought I'd give the Caribbean a miss, saving for a trip to the moon it might be Covid free. Hope you are all well, stay safe.

Ok Brian, thanks for that. I'll send an email to your sky email address with the teams link. I'll also edit these two posts with your email in it, just so if there's any guests on the forum he might use it!

We would need the Scottish Government to change what tier we're in.
Having looked at the numbers on their website, and how they calculate it, they seem to be randomly assigning figures. They allegedly judge it based on 5 criteria rated 1-4 like the tiers so you can work it out. Inverclyde scores 8/20 total and is tier 3. Edinburgh City scores 5/20 and is tier 3. North and South Lanarkshire score maximum 4 on everything 20/20 total, but are also tier 3 and not 4 because...
