I'm purposely not even paying attention to this new system, it doesn't really make sense. People should just use their common sense. If the church is open, we should try and see if we can go back.

I think it's health board areas? Anyhoo, It looks likely to get more restrictive rather than less. It's a pity we can't harness the energy emanating from frustrated wargamers.....

It was health board areas, but the new system was meant to be a change to council areas - and then they just assigned it randomly anyway. I just don't get how under this system an area can score maximum in warnings, but not get the highest tier (aside from the government showing again it is terrified of doing things to just Glasgow).
But yes, looks like more restrictions for another six months I would guess

Greetings from locked down Renfrewshire, I hope everyone is keeping well! I wondered if we could cheer each other up on this thread by sharing what we are doing on the wargames front? We Ersatz Potatoes have continued to meet virtually on a Wednesday and Sunday. Anton, Alex and I have run some roleplaying, using Roll 20 , and we have also been playing Talisman. Waiting for Fury of Dracula to enable multiplayer games, with some anticipation.
On the historical front, We have been playing Bolt Action, initially on Tabletop simulator, but lately we have been actually playing games on my table. I have set up my webcam to cover the table. I draw the activation dice, and move all the figures, while the team roll dice on Roll 20, and tell me where to move the units. It has worked pretty well. We have done 8th Army vs Italians (2 wins for the British, although the last one was close) US pathfinders vs Germans (narrow US), Finns vs Soviets (draw), and today is 8th army vs Italians and Afrika Korps.

Apologies for the photo quality. The above views are the British left and right.
Scenario is objective driven- the tents and the airfield building. Both sides have 2 reinforced platoons. The British have a carrier platoon- recce carrier, transport carrier, 15cwt truck, Officer, 2"mortar and 2 5 man sections, and an infantry platoon- Officer, medic, 3"mortar, 25pdr, FOO, 2 10 man sections, and a Grant 1 .
Axis:- Italian platoon- 2 regular and 1 inexperienced rifle sections, 81mm mortar, 20mm Solothurn ATR, 47mm ATG, Breda MMG, L6/40 and M13/40. Afrika Korps platoon- all veteran- Officer, 2 10 man sections
So far very even (turn 3) Brits have lost a 5 man section , and 5 more infantry. The Axis have lost no dice, but all of the sections have lost men, and the L6/40 is immobilised with 5 pins.

End of game report: It ended in a marginal British victory, as they held 2 of the 3 objectives, while the German officer was disputing the last objective with the Grant tank. Highlights were the M13/40 failing 5 out of 7 command checks, the L6/40 being finally KOed by a 3"mortar setting it on fire. Super Mario- an Italian Section was decimated by the Grant, however the surviving NCO passed his morale, although he subsequently refused to charge the tank with his AT grenade. The Solothurn AT rifle attracting the attention of 2 carriers and the Grant, and finally destroying a carrier and the British officer inside.

Today's scenario was Soviets trying to break through a Finnish defence line, Scoring points for exiting the Finnish board edge. Despite the preliminary bombardment failing to arrive, and the loss of the T26A in turn 1, the Soviets managed to win (marginally!), killing a unit of Finnish veterans in the process.
