Tried out Cruel Seas last night- it met with approval. Simple to play and pretty authentic feel. I'll bring it down on Sunday

I've read a few complaints about various things, but that they can easily be house ruled out and fixed.

Alan Do you have a link to the amendments you mentioned? There is a 10 page errata on the Warlord site, but still no visibility rules.I now have cardholders - a company called Mango Terrain. Quite cheep and they seem effective- come in packs of 3.

One of the things on the Errata affects turning. You only turn once for every speed level now- so slow, 1 turn, combat 2 and full 3. Bit of a game changer, I fancy.....

Suggested spotting rules:- Agree automatic spotting range- 50cm seems reasonable for a night action crews make a skill test, modified as follows:- target moving at combat speed- +1 target at full speed +2 Using Radar +1 US radar +2 Stationary target -1 Large or huge target +1 target firing+3
