Okay guys, we are at 7 players and good to go. Can everyone send me an email to: anton.gameofthrones@gmail.com I'll be using this email to stop my actual email overloading with messages. The PlayersDanny – Arryn Bob – Baratheons Jimi – Tyrells David – Targaryens Mel – Martell Don– Stark Ken - Greyjoy N/A – Lannister I have asked a few of the others by email to see if they are interested in being our 8th player. We can definitely play with 7 but I'll give them today to get back to me.

quick question, can dragons support other troops and vive versa?

Dragons can support troops as long as they are adjacent.
A few things that have come up.
- you all start with 5 Money. - it is one order per province. So if you can't give separate units different orders. You can give a March order and have the unit do nothing, if you wanted to move one unit away but keep one where it is. - Land units cannot support sea battles, but boats can support land, as long as they are adjacent. - If you need more explanation of any of the rules (supply for example) just ask and I'll clarify for everyone here. - Supply Barrels only update as part of a random event card at the beginning of the turn. So if you take or lose barrels, you might have to wait a few turns before they update properly.

another helpful note. Sorry if this game seems complicated, I promise it all makes sense. It's just much trickier to explain stuff in text than in person.
Chaining together orders Orders are enacted one at a time so you can chain together March orders. Lets say you have two adjacent provinces both with a soldier in them. You can give both provinces a March order. The first soldier moves into the adjacent province joining their buddy (assuming this doesn't break supply) then you can do the second March order moving both units this time. A unit can theoretically move several times a turn this way.
Adding on to this, both units don't have to move into the same province. The March order allows both units to move (or stay still), one can go in one direction and the other somewhere else.

Anton,
Can we assign orders to a province that we have maintained control of using money and not units?

How far can units move? I had assumed 1 province, as in Diplomacy/Machiavelli?

yes unless transported by a chain of your ships, or you have wings.
